Situational Awareness for Safety is a 1-hour self-paced online training course that provides knowledge, tools, and techniques to help learners maintain situational awareness and stay safe. This course is for anyone who wants to be more aware of their environment and avoid threats. With our phones, social media, and our busy lives we tend to ignore what happens around us - but this can be dangerous. Threat Observation is a research-based, on-demand training course that provides learners with knowledge, tools, and techniques to identify active threats. This training is an integral step in learning the active threat assessment methodology. Learners are trained to: Systematically observe any environment Identify potentially threatening individuals and situations. This course is designed for all military, law enforcement, and security professionals who have a mission of observing, interacting with, and protecting the public. The Threat Observation course requires verification of security, military, or law enforcement affiliation before enrollment. After purchase, you will be able to submit submit the affiliation verification form available on the Second Sight website.  Threat Observation is also a component of our Threat Awareness Program. In addition to the threat observation skills you learn in this course, the Threat Awareness program provides additional training and practice to identify specific behavioral indicators of threat.  Combing these two skillsets will help prepare you to assess any environment and clearly identify the threat level of individuals within that environment who may pose a threat to you or the public.
